Geoffrey's Malibu located at 27400 Pacific Coast Highway, is an elegant beachside restaurant set on top of the cliffs at the Pacific's edge that offers a variety of entrees and has an extensive wine cellar.  A beautiful place with one of the best views in Malibu.  The food and the atmosphere are above compare.  The restaurant is easily Malibu's most romantic restaurant.  A favorite with celebrities. Another favorite Malibu eatery is Coogies located at 23755 Malibu Road.  Popular with the local celebrities...rumor has it John Cusack eats brunch here every Sunday....and Britney Spears is seen here from time to time.  A great place to take the whole family. Coogies serves a variety of sandwiches, salads, soup and more.

Malibu Country Mart  located at 3835 Cross Creek Road. This is a pleasant little outdoor shopping center made up of about 25 upscale shops and restaurants. If it were located anywhere but Malibu it probably wouldn't stand out, but situated as it is just minutes from the beach and the famous Malibu Colony, it helps offer a little insight into the Malibu lifestyle. There is an effort here at the Malibu Country Mart to keep things informal and low-key, yet at the same time, chic & trendy - somewhat like Malibu itself.   Don't miss Malibu Kitchen and Gourmet Country Mart.  Great food....deli style.  The chocolate peanut butter squares are KILLER!  You can grab a table outside and people watch.

The place to stay while in Malibu is the Malibu Beach Inn located at 22878 Pacific Coast Highway (Carbon Beach area).  The Malibu Beach Inn is a name which is synonymous with the ultimate "California Dreamin'" experience.
